In 1921, the Jia brothers founded a small shop in Bangkok selling plant seeds. It was the foundation on which CP was built. For more than 80 years, CP (short for Charoen Pokphand, which in the Thai language means “Prosperity in Food”) has never forgotten its humble roots, even though it has grown to become one of the largest food companies in Asia today. Inspired by our company name, we strive, bit-by-bit, day-by-day, to give our customers prosperity of life through good food.
